Sending postcards: SwissPostCard formats and delivery times
You can currently choose between A5 or A6 sizes for your SwissPostCard, in either portrait or landscape format. More options will be available in future, for example folding cards. The exact dimensions of the postcards are set out in the table below, and all card layouts are available for downloading in a variety of file formats.

Production and dispatch times
Monday to Friday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
No cards can be printed or sent on Saturdays, Sundays or federal, cantonal and regional public holidays. Within the framework of the aforementioned production and delivery times, Swiss Post will make every effort to send the postcards on the dispatch date chosen by the Customer.
Average delivery times
As the average delivery times are only based on experience, we recommend that you allow enough time for your postcard orders. To avoid unnecessary delays we also recommend that you write out the name of the destination country in Latin letters. The name of the destination country in the last line of the address should be in either French or English, if possible.
